House Warming Pics Uploaded
Thanks to everyone who came down to Friday’s house warming party at Cabaret Voltiare. I’m sure you will agree it was a ripping night, everyone looked like they were having fun and Rainer seemed to grin quite a bit! Many apologies for the no-show of MC DRS who was scheduled to travel from Manchester to join us for the evening. There was a mix up and he got double booked. We are making every effort to re-organise his appearance for a date in September.
Please post any positive or negative feedback about the night on our forum, we are keen to know how it went for you.
Last but not least, check the photos page for some snaps we have just uploaded. If you have any more pics from the night please feel free to send them in and we’ll upload them too.

Trouble Related Events
It seems that you can’t keep a good crew down and it is now getting very difficult to keep our mouths shut about all the wicked music we are promoting over the coming months. Be sure to check out the non-Trouble events that are looking very promising.
First up, Destination has already kicked off down at Po Na Na. We’re working closely with the venue to slowly grow a consistent crowd and club experience akin to those at other Po Na Na venues up and down the country. Check out all their forthcoming guests; Bobby & Steve, Jazzy Jeff, Jon Carter, Stanton Warriors… Please come down and show your support. The venue has plenty of decent seating so it is ideal for a chilled evening or a pissed up boogie fest.
Shake Ya Rumpa goes off on Friday 6th May. This ought to be great fun; since deciding to move Trouble to the Cab we worried we would miss the intimacy of the Cellar Bar. The [Wee] Red Vodka Club is an ideal place for us to DJ to a crowd that should consist solely of our mates. That’s you that is.
During early May the publicity for our most exciting project to date ought to work its way into circulation. The first Glenfiddich Independent Mix features a massive 3-band bill with bands from all over Europe. Jaga Jazzist, Poets of Rhythm and the Joe Acheson Trio line up on June 9th. These bands cover a range of styles with influences from the Cinematic Orchestra to James Brown and even touching on early Genesis! It’s a bargain at only £5 so you should take the chance.
